Guthrie Castle has long been one of my favourite venues, so it was a pleasure to be there once again to photograph Natalie & Peter’s wedding. Even the groom being on crutches due to a leg injury didn’t dampen the spirits of the wedding party. The first dance is often a challenge for grooms (!) and being on crutches didn’t help, but Peter was up to the task!

Some strange weather – rolling fog one minute, blazing sunshine the next – but Kelly and James’s wedding at Orocco Pier was a stunning day nonetheless. The full wedding collection from Kathryn & Ryan’s wedding is now available, and to celebrate here is a slideshow of some of my personal favourite shots. There were plenty to choose from as this was one of my favourite weddings of the year – not only is Kathryn an absolutely stunning bride whose happiness is written all over her face for everyone to see, but she did something which is becoming more and more unusual – she allowed enough time for her photos as it was important to her to get the best images possible. Like many things you only get out what you put in, so we worked with Kathryn & Ryan to make sure that there were several great locations and plenty of time for the photos. It doesn’t need to take all day if you plan it in advance, and there was still enough time for the couple to enjoy their wedding, but now they’ve got some stunning photos to remember it all by. I’m very proud of some of the images we shot that day, and I know Kathryn & Ryan are delighted too. Have a look ….
