London Fashion Weekend

An unusual job for me this week – fashion photographer (my wife is soooo jealous!). I was invited to photograph the catwalk show at London Fashion Weekend, held at the fabulous Somerset House in London. The show was sponsored by Elle Magazine and presented by journalist and TV presenter Louise Roe. It was a great opportunity for me to do something a bit different, and I enjoyed it hugely. Here are a few photos for all you clothes fans:

Godspell at the Adam Smith Theatre, Kirkcaldy

On Monday I photographed the cast of Godspell, running this week at the Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy. The fabulously talented young cast from KYMT always put on a fabulous show and it was a huge pleasure to work with them.

Here are a few of the pictures:

Wedding Photography at Newbattle Abbey – Louise & Peter

This was never going to be an ordinary wedding, that was obvious from the moment I met Lou & Pete. Their plans included an after-dinner ‘pub-quiz’, with each table at the wedding breakfast competing for exotic prizes and holding their evening reception in a museum, with the guests chauffeured to the venue in a original London bus. Everyone wants their wedding to be unique, and they certainly achieved that. They even managed to lay on spectacular weather, although as those who ventured outside found out, it was absolutely freezing!

The venue for the ceremony & meal was the magnificent Newbattle Abbey College, a stunning building inside and out, expertly run by events organiser Gill Hamilton for whom nothing was too much trouble. The food was provided by Lamberton Catering, with chef Robert Myler and his team producing a fabulous meal before the Red Bus Company drove everyone in their beautifully turned out 1962 Routemaster bus to the Scottish Mining Museum for the reception.

Here are a few of my favourite pictures from the day, the full collection will be online soon, use the Subscribe function above to be notified.

As always please use the Comment function to leave a message for Lou & Pete.
