Wedding Photography at Dalhousie Castle – Jane & Dan

Jane & Dan, accompanied by a large posse of friends and family, travelled from the south of England to Dalhousie Castle near Edinburgh for a traditional Scottish wedding – kilts, bagpipes, haggis and ceilidh dancing. After the ceremony the Dalhousie Falconry Centre put on a magnificent owl flying display which was great entertainment for everyone. Unfortunately the weather was traditionally Scottish as well, ranging from blazing sunshine to rain and wind, with everything in between, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of the sixty or so guests who danced the night away to the Bon Accord Ceilidh Band.

The weather didn’t stop us getting some great pictures, here is a slideshow of some of my favourites. The rest will be online soon once Jane & Dan get back from honeymoon. Please feel free to leave them a message using the comment function. You will also find the images on Facebook here, where you are welcome to tag the images.

Lisa & Ben – Wedding Photography in St Andrews at the Fairmont Hotel

How to have the perfect wedding:

1. Beautiful bride in a stunning dress

2. Ultra-cool groom driving a proper classic car

3. 5 star venue with great views, great facilities and great food

4. A superb band

5. 140 or so of the friendliest people around

This was the recipe for Lisa & Ben’s wedding at the fabulous Fairmont Hotel. Lisa wore the most amazing Jenny Packham dress and looked absolutely fabulous. Ben was matching her for coolness, arriving in a classic Austin Healey with the roof down. After the humanist ceremony we went to the beach (well, it was a lovely day, what else would you do) for some photos before returning to the Fairmont for dinner and the evening reception where Slinky were providing the entertainment. It was a fabulous day, Lisa & Ben made sure they had allowed plenty of time for photos and as you can see from the results it was well worth the effort. Isabella and the team at the Fairmont looked after everyone in great style, and it was one of those weddings which people will talk about for a long time to come.

Here are a few of my favourite pictures from the day, the full set will be online soon, in the meantime please feel free to leave a message for Lisa & Ben using the comments function below.

Wedding Photography at Guthrie Castle – Angela & Neil

Another day, another fabulous outdoor wedding at Guthrie Castle! There really is something unique about Guthrie Castle, and it’s been one of my favourite venues in Scotland for many years so I am always delighted to return there. This time it was for Angela & Neil’s wedding which took place, despite threatening skies, in the castle’s wonderful gardens. With a magician and giant Jenga & Connect 4 there was plenty to entertain the 100+ guests during the afternoon before the reception took place in the pavillion. The weather held out during the day and everyone (especially Angela & Neil) had a wonderful time, admirably looked after by Meaghan and the team at Guthrie.

Here are some of my favourite image from the day – click play to view the slideshow. If you prefer you can view the images on Facebook here where you are welcome to tag the images.

The full collection will be online soon to view & order prints, check back here for details. Hope you had a great day, we did!
