Wedding Photography at Huntingtower Hotel – Libby & Barry

After seven years together Libby & Barry finally tied the knot today in an emotional and highly personal wedding at Huntingtower Hotel. Libby & Barry are one of those couples who were so obviously meant to be together that being part of their wedding day with such a close-knit group of friends and family was both an honour and a huge pleasure. Have a great time at the post-wedding party and on your fabulous honeymoon – those of us left behind in cold, wet Scotland aren’t jealous at all …. honest!

Here are some of my favourite photographs from the day. To view more images click the link below this picture. You can also (by special request from Barry – told you I’d work something out!) view a slideshow of the images by clicking here

We’d love to hear from you, please feel free to leave a message for Libby & Barry using the comments function below.

Thanks for the wine!

From time to time I will receive a nice message from a couple whose wedding I’ve photographed – a card or an email – and it’s a lovely thought which is much appreciated. Occasionally people will send a thank-you gift , so it was a pleasant surprise this morning when a van arrived to deliver several bottles of wine in a very smart presentation case. The only problem is, the card attached (the order was placed online I think so a computer actually printed it) is blank, and so I have no idea who the present came from!

Whoever you are, thanks for the wine, I shall enjoy it (but not tonight, I’ve got another wedding to photograph tomorrow).

Wedding Photography at Dalhousie Castle, Scotland – Mel & Aaron

Up early on a Sunday morning …. must be a wedding on! It was a beautiful day for Melanie & Aaron’s intimate wedding in the grounds of Dalhousie Castle. The couple had traveled over from Canada to marry in Scotland, and after the ceremony there was plenty of time to explore the extensive grounds around the castle. Both Mel and Aaron, although initially nervous, were absolute naturals in front of the camera, and we had plenty of time to create some beautiful images for them to remember their wedding. Here are some of my favourites from the day, please feel free to leave a message for Mel & Aaron using the comment feature.
