CHAS needs your support

CHAS (Children’s Hospice Association of Scotland) does incredible work for children through their hospices at Rachel House here in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch, as well as providing home care services to assist families in need of support. They are in the running to become Sainsbury’s nominated charity partner which would mean huge financial benefits and enable them to extend the work they currently do.

Sainsbury’s supermarkets are inviting customers and colleagues to nominate a local charity to be their official charity partner for each store for the year, as part of their 140th birthday celebrations. The three most popular charities will then be shortlisted.

CHAS would love the opportunity to be Sainsbury’s charity partner – but we need your help nominating CHAS.

It’s really easy to do, just download your nomination form from the Sainsbury’s website, fill it in and pop it into the Local Charity of the Year voting box found at the front of your local Sainsbury’s store. Or you can download the nomination form here. icon Sainsbury’s nomination form (75.66 kB)

Nominations close on 26 May, so there’s no time to waste. The chosen charity will benefit by working in partnership with Sainsbury’s throughout the year through volunteering and fundraising.

A day at the beach

Who needs The Maldives when you’ve got Aberdour beach in February ….

Anna & I got married at Aberdour Castle, and it’s one of our favourite places to go for a day out. Lewis is into shells & fossils at the moment, so on Sunday we got our wellies on and went hunting on the beach at Aberdour. There’s nothing cuter than kids at the beach having a great time so as weddings are few and far between, and my last few posts have been all words, I thought I’d post a few pictures from the day.
