Clare & Stuart’s Prestonfield wedding

I spent the day in a parallel universe ….. at least that’s how it seemed at times! In January 2008 I shot the wedding of Christine McCole to Ross Lister, and if you’ve met us at a wedding fair or visited the studio you will have seen our sample album in which they feature. Today I returned to St Andrew’s church in Ravelston to shoot the wedding of Christine’s sister Clare to Ross’s brother Stuart. The weather was absolutely perfect and the large group of family and friends were able to enjoy the magnificent grounds at Prestonfield House, venue for the reception. Clare looked absolutely stunning, and the couple were able to relax and enjoy their great day.

Jenny & Andrew’s wedding at Prestonfield

The following day the weather held (just) for Jenny & Andrew to get married in the grounds of wonderful Prestonfield House. With a friendly and informal Humanist ceremony it was a very laid-back wedding and realxed wedding with everyone enjoying the superb setting.

Clare & Stuart – Portraits at Prestonfield

Clare & Stuart and the sister and brother of Christine & Ross, whose wedding I photographed in 2008 – many of you will have seen the album sample we have with their photos from St Andrews Church and the George Hotel. This year it is the turn of Clare & Stuart, and I am flattered to have been asked to photograph their wedding which is taking place in a few weeks. On Sunday we met up at the reception venue – the stunning Prestonfield House – to discuss the finer details of the day and take a few pre-wedding pictures. Despite the icy cold (it’s only May!) they managed to stop shivering just long enough for a couple of lovely relaxed shots. I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding in June, the families were so friendly at Christine & Ross’s wedding and it will be like a reunion with old friends.
