In total there are 327 images – they worked me hard all day! I’m very pleased with the results, although to be fair Ali is an absolutely stunning girl anyway so it wasn’t much of a challenge! The unseasonal weather on Saturday kept the Australian contingent happy, but we Scots were confused by the bright shiny thing in the sky – it’s only April after all! Ali & Scott had a fabulous day for their wedding, and with six locations in five hours I had my work cut out just keeping up with them. The Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh was a stunning venue for both the ceremony and reception, with additional photos at the flat where Ali was getting ready, Calton Hill for stunning views over Edinburgh and across to Scott’s native Fife, and finally the Queen Street gardens before returning to the venue. Wedding Classics provided a beautiful Rolls Royce to convey the couple, the family, and even the photographer in style. 

This was my first wedding since attending a 3 day masterclass with legendary Australian photographer David A Williams and I was buzzing with ideas to try out, though photographing Ali wasn’t a challenge as she looked absolutely stunning. I’m no judge, but I am reliably informed that Scott looked pretty good too! Here are some of the results, your comments are always welcome via the comments function below.
