A nice local job in Fife yesterday, to the fabulous Forrester Park Golf Club near Dunfermline to photograph the wedding of Stefanie & Craig (AKA Robi). The weather was horrible but the golf club is a great venue for a wedding and it didn’t dampen the spirits of everyone who was there.
One of the reasons many people choose me to photograph their wedding is for natural, unposed “reportage” photos – hence my choice of image for this “Just One”. Weddings are pretty full-on so it’s often difficult for couples to grab any time together. This was one such moment, just before the speeches. I’ve no idea what Craig had said, but from the look on Stef’s face it was probably something mushy & romantic. People often ask what makes each wedding unique – for me it’s shots like this – a genuine ‘moment’ rather than something posed or contrived.
