After the ceremony at
Kilgraston we all moved to
Solsgirth House for the reception, where thankfully it wasn’t quite so windy.
Solsgirth has always been a favourite location of mine as it is an absolutely beautiful house and ideal for weddings. An added attraction is the resident caterers –
Be My Guest – who are probably the best in the business, certainly the meal served at Paula & Scott’s wedding (which Tracy and I also enjoyed) was as good as anything I have ever had.
After the meal everyone was invited outside, where Scott had arranged a surprise for Paula – a pipe band! The band, from Dollar Academy, appeared out of the darkness to cheers from the assembled guests and played superbly on the lawn at Soslgirth. After that it was party time!
Thanks to Paula & Scott for choosing us for your wedding, we had a great time. Hope you have a great honeymoon, can’t wait to see you when you get back and show you the photos.
